There is so much creativity in Public Relations because of the amount of tools you are able to use to promote an organization or company. From creating print ads through InDesign, PhotoShop, Canva, etc. to creating social media posts to keep your audience engaged, there are so many outlets you can use to be your best, creative PR self.
DESIGN
Through different design platforms, you have the freedom and capability to make your collateral materials match your business' persona so well. There is InDesign and PhotoShop which will give you a complete creative range to create any design you wish, they work very similarly and let you start from a completely blank page to make your materials and designs completely unique. Canva is a personal favorite and gives you complete creative freedom, but it also provides you with elements and headers that you would have to create on your own in InDesign or PhotoShop. Canva is perfect if you're stuck in a mental block and need help knowing where to start because of its templates.

All of these platforms are very easy to use and include tutorials and helpful tips when you first start using them for your organization or company!
Once you have perfected these design applications, it is important to know whom you are designing for. Knowing your audience is one of the most important parts of PR as a whole. Finding your audience through demographics and statistics, it is important to know what will keep them engaged and interested in YOUR company.

Social media has taken over the world which is why it is such a vital part of Public Relations. Learning how to navigate and target your audience on social media is very important because that is a part of your controlled media. You have full control over what is posted and what message is released to your audience.
Discounts and/or Giveaways are really important too because it gives your audience the opportunity to participate in your organization or company which will keep them loyal because they see that you're trying to include them.
Lastly, events will be a great way to include your audience in your company and make them happy. If your audience is included in your events it will boost revenue and income.
Engaging and targeting your audience is one of the most important parts of PR and with these tips and design applications, you will have them wrapped around your finger!
